You quickly discover that buildings in Dubai is all about tall (very tall) sky scrapers and malls. Both the Dubai Mall and The Mall of the Emirates that I ventured into today could easily be cities in themselves. They are huge, many shops, however are not that busy! Particularly in the Dubai Mall many shops are yet to be completed and some hardly capturing much business.
Probably the most recognized ‘novelty’ feature that is widely known is the Ski Dubai and as the name suggests is a ski slope. This can be found in the Mall of the Emarites. But I was equally amazed to find at the Dubai Mall the equivalent of our old “SEGA World” (called SEGA Republic), an aquarium, and an ice-rink all within three floors of each other. You could actually be forgiven for being a mall-rat.
